Kukui Keepers

In addition to being the official state tree of Hawaii, the Kukui nut has long played an important role in traditional Hawaiian life. From dyes to oil, spice and medicine, lei are also made from both the nuts and leaves. The image here shows the unique way to make a lei from the leaves.

With so many uses from this little nut, I thought it appropriate that this tiny and wonderful little bag be named the Kukui Keeper.
